Tenuta Maryamado is located in the heart of the Tuscan hills, in a particularly suitable position for olive cultivation. Sustainability is a fundamental principle that permeates every aspect of our agricultural production, including the creation of our extra virgin olive oil. We adopt practices that promote biodiversity, improve soil fertility, and preserve plant vitality. We carefully respect the life cycle of our olive trees, considering factors such as sun exposure, wind action, and tree age.

Harvesting occurs in multiple stages, at the optimal ripening moment of the plant, and cold pressing takes place within a few hours of harvesting to preserve the organoleptic characteristics and ensure the highest quality of our precious extra virgin olive oil.

Our constant focus on organic farming, respecting the environment and cultivation methods, has led us to create "Olearium," a special grove consisting of over 25 historical varieties of Tuscan olives that we are developing to protect and preserve the genome for future generations.

Recently, we have expanded the wide variety of olive groves on the estate with four hectares dedicated to the production of single variety oils. In this case, all pruning and harvesting operations can be carried out from the ground, allowing for a faster and more effective harvest during the ripening period.

For us, all of this represents a commitment and dedication to sustainability, as well as a pursuit of the highest quality, flavor, and taste in our extra virgin olive oil.
